How Rose Quartz Helps In Opening Up Your Heart Chakra?
Before addressing this problem and going deep into the matters of heart, we must understand that before you truly love somebody else, you should feel lovable, first. The fact is that rose quartz doesn't promise any new partner or some magical fairytale romance in your life. It helps you clear your own negative perception of the world and yourself. A blocked heart chakra is a form of self-hate that we project onto others. It can be anything from not being good enough or being loved enough. One can only love others truly if they love themselves first, cherish their own self. To create a pleasant and happy relationship, one has to get rid of one’s vanity and be able to accept their own flaws.
When you can accept your shortcomings, you can embrace your partner whole-heartedly too. In her song House With No Mirrors Sasha Sloan speaks of how society's narrow perception of appearances and lack of self-love stopped her from living life to the fullest. We are forced to hate ourselves by comparing to what the media shows us. But it's not the outside world who is the culprit. It's our own willingness to succumb to other's approval. When we resent ourselves and others, we are stopping this natural flow of belongingness.
Rose quartz is so beautiful to behold and so pristine, that it can induce some induce, some sort of a feeling in you, depending on your level of self-acceptance. It is like a virtual meter to tell you if you are capable of giving others, feeling connected to yourself and to the physical world. We all deserve to be loved and accepted irrespective of our differences. By healing our inner wounds, we become capable of loving ourselves and channel unconditional love to the world. So, what's your story of self-love? If you have something to share, let me know in the comments section.
