What Can Nakshatra Gana Reveal Your Past Life Incarnation?

In Vedic astrology, the moon sign is given more importance than your sun sign. The reason being the moon represents your mind, your perception of life, and your reactions. These moon signs are further divided into 27 nakshatras or stars. Each of these placements has been related to a deity, symbol, and theme.

Now diving further deeper in this topic, I would like to elaborate on the classification of nakshatras. There are categorized in many ways, in terms of behavior, ruling lords, and personality types. It is mainly done to have a better understanding and judging compatibility between two individuals during kundali milan or matchmaking.   

In this post, I will be focusing on the classification based on the nakshatra gana type. There three main types of gana(divine), nara(human), and rakshasa(demonic).

In Vedic cosmology there 14 realms or dimensions of existence. The heavenly realms lie on the top, the Earth is in the middle and hellish realms lie at the bottom level. While there are many ways to find out about your past life incarnation through astrology like drekkana or D-3 charts, your nakshatra gana is the quickest way to find out. There are many theories in the internet about starseeds and the nakshatras also confirm the same.  

Deva Gana/ Divine Beings: 

• People that belong to this nakshatras group have natives who are very soft-spoken and patient.
• They generally have a high intelligence level and are born to rich families.
• Their lives on Earth have less struggle due to their good karmas.
• It is believed that the people in heavenly realms have a longer life span, highly advanced technology, easy life, and more peace compared to Bhu Loka or the Earth. 
• But the catch is that souls who have developed some negative traits or committed sins on these higher realms are sent to Bhu loka. 
• So, it is very difficult to see their inner demons going past their nice personas. 

Manushya Gana/ Human Beings: 

• People that belong to this nakshatras group had incarnated on earth in their previous lifetimes.
• They have an easier time adjusting and accepting the harsh realities of life compared to deva or rakshasa gana. 
• They are great at networking, maintaining relationships, and handling the uncertainties of life.
• Materialistic gains rank at the top of their priority list but they also love their families equally.
• They tend to have more karmic relationships.

Rakshasa Gana/ Demonic Beings: 

• The best thing about this nakshatra group is that they have climbed the ladder of existence due to their good karmas and are promoted to bhuloka or earth.
• Rakshasa people are bad at hiding their flaws or bad behavior, sometimes they have behavioral defects in childhood. 
• They have a lot of desires, endless cravings, and unapologetic behavior.
• They have a hard time learning a new language, studying, and having good etiquettes.
• Most of them have the 'rags to riches' story, having to face struggles in the early part of life.
• They attain success and powerful positions, later in life, due to their hardworking and ambitious nature.
